Nail Technician Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our clients. Your expertise in color theory, sanitation practices, and various nail techniques will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clientele.

Duties

  • Provide a range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate shades and styles.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all work areas and tools.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments based on client interests.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty services to provide informed recommendations.
  • Assist with retail sales by promoting products that enhance client experiences at home.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles related to nail care, hair styling, barbering, and body waxing.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in product sales effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and address their needs effectively.
