Absolute Home Services is a home services company established in 2012 based in Burlington. We offer a one-stop shop for home owners to get all of their home services done by one company who is focused on delivering great work and service. We currently have 3 divisions in the company including a handyman services division, a painting division, and a landscaping division. We are looking for a handyman/handywoman to join our skilled handyman division in Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga. We are looking for people that take pride in their work, are customer-oriented, and want to continue to learn and grow in a rapidly growing company.

Job Purpose

• The Handyman/Handywoman position will work on various residential projects of different sizes and scopes throughout Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga. Projects could be as small as small repairs or as large as a full kitchens, full bathrooms, full basements. Our handymen/women often work on their own, but at times will team up with another member when needed based on the project. The focus, regardless of the project, is to deliver professional high quality work and excellent customer service on budget. Our goal is for our clients to want us back for their next home project.

Duties and Responsibilities

The handyman/handywoman is responsible for:

• Delivering professional quality work
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients
• Ensuring work is completed on budget
• Maintaining equipment, their vehicle, and jobsites
• Communicating with customers as needed
• Regular communication with the project manager and other handymen/handywomen

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a background in home services, home repairs, handyman/handywoman work, construction, and/or general contractor work. They must be someone who is customer oriented.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5+ years or more in residential handyman, home renovation, construction, general contractor experience
• Driver's license

Hours/Compensation

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday. Starting pay will be based on experience but typically ranges between $27-32 per hour to start.

Access to a company vehicle to drive to and from projects.
