Project Manager – Civil Construction

SheaRock Construction Windsor/Essex County

SheaRock is looking for a Project Manager with real underground civil experience and strong estimating skills. Someone who likes clear priorities, takes ownership, communicates well, and keeps projects moving without drama.

What you'll handle:

  • Leading day-to-day operations on water, sanitary, storm, and road projects
  • Coordinating crews, equipment, subcontractors, and materials so the job flows
  • Reviewing drawings, scope, quantities, and change orders
  • Preparing takeoffs, pricing small jobs, and helping with tenders
  • Building schedules, tracking budgets, and keeping targets on track
  • Working closely with the Superintendent and Estimator to solve problems fast
  • Keeping communication tight with clients, inspectors, and the team
  • Making sure safety and quality stay high from start to finish

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years underground civil experience
  • Solid estimating abilities: takeoffs, costing, change order pricing
  • Strong communicator who stays organized and accountable
  • Someone who likes structure, clarity, and keeping commitments
  • Able to read a job, anticipate issues, and make good decisions
  • Understanding of municipal standards and inspections
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in Windsor/Essex
