Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, culinary arts, and team leadership. This position requires a passion for food, creativity in menu planning, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in line with fine dining expectations.
  • Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during peak times.
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain quality control and consistency across all dishes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a culinary management role within the food industry or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a diverse team.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and menu planning.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures for effective stock control.
  • Experience in catering services or banquet operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
