Your Impact
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive with a strong background in the Canadian Public Sector, including experience working with Federal, Provincial, Municipal governments, and Shared Services Canada (SSC). This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique procurement processes, compliance requirements, and operational challenges of public sector organizations in Canada.

You will be responsible for driving strategic engagements, expanding AvePoint's footprint, and delivering value to public sector clients through our data governance and collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow relationships within Canadian public sector organizations, including SSC, ministries, municipalities, and Crown corporations.  Leverage your understanding of public sector procurement and compliance frameworks (e.g., GC Cloud Guardrails, ITSG-33, MITS) to position AvePoint solutions effectively.  Identify and qualify opportunities, build account plans, and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.  Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, business development, pre-sales engineering, and customer success to deliver tailored solutions.  Lead consultative conversations that align AvePoint's capabilities with public sector priorities such as digital transformation, cloud adoption, data sovereignty, and cost optimization.  Represent AvePoint at public sector events, conferences, and industry forums to build brand awareness and generate leads.  Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and reference ability through proactive engagement and support.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions to Canadian public sector clients.  Deep understanding of the structure and decision-making processes within Federal, Provincial, and Municipal governments.  Familiarity with Shared Services Canada and its role in IT procurement and service delivery.  Strong consultative selling skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  Experience working in a virtual account team environment.  University degree or equivalent experience.  5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in data governance, cloud, or collaboration technologies.  Strategic thinker with a sense of urgency, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.

AvePoint is proud to employ talent from many different backgrounds, experiences, and identities. We believe that diversity and inclusion drives our success and is at the core of how we hire, communicate, and collaborate to deliver value and excellence.
