Kore Ventures Inc. services the entire Vancouver Lower Mainland, from Squamish to Chilliwack offering irrigation and landscape lighting services. Our specialists can design a lawn irrigation system or an outdoor landscape lighting system for residential or commercial properties.

We are currently looking for an Irrigation Technicians Supervisor to join our team on our many projects across the Lower Mainland.

  • Position: Irrigation Technicians Supervisor
  • Work Hours: 30 hrs. per week
  • Number of vacancies: 1
  • Wage: $36.60 per hour
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Benefits: Dental Insurance, Extended Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, 10 business days of vacation
  • Work Location: reporting to main office located at 110 – Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3Z 6M2.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of Irrigation Technicians in residential and commercial properties.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors and trades as needed.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and installation standards
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
  • Prepare work progress reports and present to owner
  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Requirements/Education and other requirements

  • Secondary school diploma is required.
  • At least 2 years of related installing, repairing, or servicing experience, including (but not limited to) supervisory experience are required.
  • English language required.
  • Organized, self-disciplined, motivated and able to work independently.
  • Interpersonal communication skills, communicate effectively both written and orally.
  • A strong work ethic, commitment to team culture, positive attitude.
