Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and customers. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance activities to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from clients promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.

Skills

  • Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and custodial experience is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients efficiently.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
