We believe everyone has a right to feel safe and protected, and to know that someone is looking out for them.  So we treat our employees like family members – we'll be honest with them, support them, offer a listening ear, admit when we're wrong and be a positive force in their lives and in our communities.LOCATION: Winnipeg, Altona, Manitoba or Home Office SCHEDULE: Full-time REPORTS TO: Sales and Marketing ManagerDIRECT REPORTS: N/A PURPOSE OF POSITION:This position is responsible for acquiring, developing, growing, and maintaining our business portfolio and brokerage relationships within an assigned portfolio of brokers, while actively managing broker performance to drive strategic results, traveling regularly to strengthen partnerships, representing the company at industry events to promote our brand and expand market insights, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance sales culture focused on sustainable growth and profitability.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:Independently manage assigned broker relationships to drive sales, growth, and long-term engagement.Build and sustain a strong pipeline through broker acquisition, portfolio development, and new business opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to align broker strategies with strategic initiatives, product launches, and business goals.Monitor key performance indicators, including retention, loss ratio, and portfolio growth.Represent the company at industry and broker events to elevate brand visibility and foster new connections.Create tools and deliver training to brokers that support sales enablement and business development.Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitive dynamics, and product offeringsThis role involves frequent travel, primarily within assigned broker portfolio, with occasional overnight tripsOther administrative duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:Post-secondary education in business or related field8+ years of sales/business development experience in the P&C insurance industryCIP designation completed or in progress is considered an assetStrong relationship-building, networking, and customer service skills with proven success in driving new and existing businessStrategic thinker with solid business planning and analytical abilitiesSkilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-makingExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsAble to work independently while collaborating effectively across teamsComfortable in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlinesWe thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Accommodation for applicants with disabilities is available upon request any time during the recruitment process. Our Accessible employment policies and practices are available on request and in accessible formats. Applicants with disabilities can request accessible formats of communication and/or request an alternative method of applying for a position by contacting  or toll free).
