Assurances Simon is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support our team of Damage Insurance Brokers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and providing strong operational support.

Main Responsibilities


• Telephone reception and acting as the first point of contact for clients


• Sorting and organizing incoming emails


• Processing billing for new business, endorsements, renewals, and related items


• Entering data and sending required documentation for new business and endorsements


• Distributing internal mail


• Scanning and attaching incoming mail to client files


• Managing print requests for brokers working remotely


• Greeting visitors at the office


• Assisting with the opening of claims and related correspondence

Professional Profile


• College diploma, preferably in administration or office systems (asset)


• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role


• Comfortable learning new computer systems


• Fluency in spoken and written French and English


• Proficiency in daily office software such as MS Office, Outlook, Teams


• Experience with Applied Epic is an asset


• Knowledge of insurer portals such as Intact, Aviva, Promutuel, or Economical is an asset


• Work schedule of 37 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on site
