Overview:

The Housekeeping Team is committed to maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment

for all our residents. This team provides weekly cleaning services, ensuring that Resident suites

remain fresh and tidy. Providing standardized housekeeping and laundry services within an

environment where excellent hospitality is expected.

Standard housekeeping services include vacuuming and sweeping floors, dusting and wiping

down surfaces in common areas, bedrooms, and living spaces, cleaning bathrooms, including

toilets, sinks, and showers, and emptying garbage and waste bins. Standard Laundry services

include collecting and laundering bed linens, pillowcases, towels, and personal laundry items,

returning them neatly folded and ready for Resident use.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with seniors, Brain Injury, Mental Health is an asset

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Has interpersonal skills and will work from a team plan and / or independently

  • Willing to work with flexible housekeeping plans when circumstances require change

  • Available for scheduled Days / Evenings/ Nights / Weekends/ Stat Holidays etc

  • Has a positive, pleasant, willing and courteous attitude

  • Willing to maintain annual competencies, as required for the job

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of daily duties, as required for the job

  • Ability to navigate resident concerns that can be physiologically demanding
