Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of building components, fixtures, and systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The Installer will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring, tile, cabinetry, fixtures, and other building components.
  • Perform construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, welding, caulking, and painting as needed for installation projects.
  • Conduct restoration work such as drywall repair or surface preparation prior to installation.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately to fit designated spaces using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or related trades.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions effectively.
  • Knowledge of caulking techniques and construction painting is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks in various working conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Prior experience in restoration or renovation projects is desirable.
