Interworks Contracting Ltd. is an Edmonton-based construction company specializing in commercial, tenant improvement and institutional (i.e. healthcare, education) construction. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, our skilled team delivers professional construction and renovation services from planning through completion, Our team takes pride in building lasting relationships through reliability, integrity, and exceptional workmanship on every project.

Responsibilities

  • Build and install doors, frames, drywall backing, and other wood structures
  • Install hardware (handles, hinges, locks, etc.)
  • Read and follow blueprints and specifications
  • Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers
  • Follow all OH&S and company safety policies
  • Complete required forms (timesheets, safety logs, toolbox meetings)
  • Perform physical labour (lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights with fall protection)

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Trade Certificate is an asset
  • For the right candidate, an apprenticeship is an option
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel within Alberta
  • Eligible for security clearance
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team focus
