EA Create is a team of content production experts partnering with EA Studios game teams to deliver outstanding visuals, audio and technology. What You Will Do At EA
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Development Director to support an important partner game development team. You understand game development processes, have excellent project management skills, and can work collaboratively with different partners. You will report to the Senior Manager for EA Create's Project Management team. This position is hybrid, with a minimum three days onsite.

  • This position is a 12-month contract, working hybrid 3 days a week at our Burnaby office.

You Need To Excel At

  • Manage the Create development process, ensuring it aligns with the game project's goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Create and partner teams to build a project schedule in consideration of project milestones, development schedule and budget expectations.
  • Develop a project budget for all Create coordinated production activity.
  • Provide project leadership to the development team, ensuring clear direction.
  • Escalate conflicts between game development and Create teams.
  • Develop positive working relationships with EA and third parties to achieve game development team goals.
  • Manage project development status, addressing quality and risk. Provide solutions that reduce impact to project plan.
  • Manage project budget and schedule: facilitate regular review meetings and prepare plans that are representative for all Create teams supporting game development projects.
  • Communicate development status: highlight opportunities, challenges, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with the Create Capture, Rigging/Blendshapes, Animation, Audio, and Technical Art team(s) to accomplish game development quality goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years project management or team leadership experience, with 3+ years of management experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with multiple shipped Game Titles or VFX / Feature Animation
  • University degree, Bachelors, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience communicating across all levels and organizations
  • Experience in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience with motion capture, performance capture, and cinematic animation

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$119,600 - $167,300 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
