We are seeking a confident, bilingual Sales Representative to join our growing team. Responsible for establishing and growing customer relationships, the successful candidate will be a business savvy, visionary go-getter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities include

  • Establishing and managing relationships with retail, foodservice, and distributor customers
  • Sourcing and nurturing business opportunities in new markets and channels

o Creating and fulfilling pull-through demand

o Managing promotional activity at customer level

  • Growing distribution of existing products
  • Introducing new products to existing and prospective customers
  • Assisting with organizing and participating in trade shows
  • Assisting with the development of sales materials
  • Assisting with the sourcing, development, and introduction of new products
  • Managing listing documents and processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years food sales experience, preferably seafood
  • Sales experience in retail and food service channels
  • Sales experience with brokers and distributors
  • Post-secondary education
  • Bilingual in English and French

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbally and written

  • Proactive, go-getter
  • Entrepreneurial, visionary
  • Self-reliant, confident, assertive
  • Sound business knowledge
  • Able to travel
