Now hiring Lead Barista

The Coffee Exchange, a locally owned specialty coffeehouse located in the heart of downtown Windsor -- and proudly voted Windsor's Best Coffeehouse, is now hiring a Lead Barista/Shift Supervisor.

Position Details:

This role offers approximately 20 to 33 hours per week (depending on applicant's availability) and is primarily for afternoon and weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
  • Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
  • Able to learn new tasks quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Previous food service experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items
  • Operate the POS system efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
  • Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet customer needs
  • Ability to direct others on-shift and ensure the shift operates efficiently
