Position Description

Looking for both part-time or full-time level II Dental Assistant.

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. It is expectation that candidate is motivated and independent, ensuring smooth and efficient dental procedures across various specialties, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the dental team with clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering top-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. We will help as much as we can to blend and transition the candidate into the current team.

Job Role and Details

  • Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining an aseptic environment.
  • Perform chairside assisting with proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and workflow efficiency.
  • Take dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and traditional radiography equipment, ensuring accurate positioning and safety protocols.
  • The office uses Tracker for practice management software
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status before procedures to ensure safety during treatment.
  • Support infection control practices by following strict sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
  • Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care to promote ongoing oral hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless delivery of comprehensive dental services across specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Assist in medical imaging procedures beyond X-rays when necessary for comprehensive patient assessment.
  • Support infection control protocols adhering to OSHA standards to safeguard patients and staff alike.

Monday 9-6

Tuesday 9-6

Wednesday 8-6

Thursday 8-5

Friday 8-2

Pay/Wage is commensurate with experience and skill.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
