Samsic is HIRING – Account Manager, Aeromexico
We are looking for an Account Manager who will provide direct support to the Station Manager. The successful candidate will be an energetic, positive, professional, and self-motivated individual providing exceptional support.
Samsic Assistance Canada operates in four out of the five major airports in Canada: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal. Specialized in the well-being of travelers, Samsic Assistance Canada is established in this airport and works every day for the comfort of passengers and flight personnel by offering such services as Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) assistance, Guest Service assistance, Ramp handling, and Baggage handling.

Account-Operations Manager YVR - Aeromexico
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Understand contract requirements and customer expectations.
· Knowledge base of budgetary responsibilities and financial responsibilities.
· Thorough knowledge of ramp operational requirements and needs.
· Ensures daily, weekly, monthly reports are completed on a timely manner.
· Serves as the point of contact/escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters and expedites resolutions.
· Represents SAMSIC Canada in regular or ad-hoc meetings with clients.
· Maintain close working relationship with clients & customers and provide prompt response to service requests.
· Determine and maintain the necessary and appropriate amount of personnel and equipment necessary to fulfill these requirements.
· Daily, weekly and monthly staff scheduling knowledge and management as needed.
· Understanding the work requirements, plan and organize the most efficient use of resources to meet these requirements through development and analysis of employee and equipment work schedules.
· Direct and manage employees and equipment to efficiently complete the tasks within established company and client standards. This is achieved through disciplined following of work schedules in line with established company standards.
· Know client company policies and interpret internal manuals in order to relate the interpretations to subordinates.
· Manages hiring and onboarding, including dismissal in coordination with Management.
· Monitor and/or conduct required training of personnel. Documented.
· Conduct employee performance evaluations and recommendations.
· Provide employee counseling and discipline as needed.
· Responsible for the security of company funds, supplies and equipment, as applicable.
· Be responsible for insuring compliance with established company safety policies and procedures.
· Lead internal/external auditing procedures, processes and action plans for the department.
· Represent the company at all times with the upmost professionalism and lead by example.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must possess at least a High School Diploma / GED equivalent. Preferably BA degree.
· Must be able to pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
· Must posses a valid driver's license and provide a Motor Vehicle Record/ MVR. (Varies by Airport.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
· Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for an extended time.
· Must be willing to work in all types of elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Three years' progressive leadership/management experience including customer service.
· Previous experience in leading teams for optimal operational and financial results.
· Knowledge of applicable Airport regulations, including standard security, Health & Safety program and familiarity with Canada Labour Code or bachelor's degree in related field.
· Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
· Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:
· YVR International Airport.
· Specific shifts to be determined.
· Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
· Some travel may be required.
