Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions accurately, and promoting a positive dine-in and takeout experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion in the food industry.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for checkout
  • Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately and securely
  • Provide product demonstrations and explain menu to customers
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve all customers promptly
  • Ensure proper organization of the front line

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Bilingual skills (English and dari/farsi) are a plus for serving diverse customers
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills to manage time effectively during shifts
