Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Renovator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various renovation tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves transforming spaces through a variety of construction and remodeling activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Demolition and Site Preparation
• Safely perform interior and exterior demolition.
• Protect existing finishes and work areas during renovations.
• Load and remove debris from job sites.
• Framing and Carpentry
• Assist with wood and metal framing for walls, ceilings, and structures.
• Install doors, windows, trim, and baseboards accurately and cleanly.
• Drywall Installation and Finishing
• Hang, tape, and mud drywall as needed for renovations.
• Perform patch repairs and surface prep for painting.
• Flooring Installation
• Install vinyl, laminate, and other flooring types per project specifications.
• Prepare subfloors, ensure accurate measurements and clean finish.
• Painting
• Prep, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, trim, and doors.
• Maintain clean lines and high-quality finish standards.
• Site Organization and Cleanliness
• Keep job sites organized, safe, and clean throughout the day.
• Help with material deliveries, inventory, and tool management.
• Customer Service
• Communicate respectfully with clients on-site.
• Represent the company's values of professionalism, honesty, and quality craftsmanship.
• Experience
• Proven experience in renovation or construction roles is essential.
• Familiarity with construction painting techniques is required.
• Proficiency in tile laying, drywall installation, Painting, Finish carpentry, flooring installation, Framing, caulking, reading schematics, fences/decks and cabinet installation is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Renovation: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
