Surgical is seeking a dynamic Certified Dental Assistant who is an excellent

communicator, adaptive, friendly, dependable and well organized.

The successful candidate will serve as a Surgical Assistant who is a key member of

the clinic team and plays an important role in the clinic's surgical procedures and patient treatment by providing exceptional care and service to patients, assisting the surgeon with surgical procedures, and ensuring the clinical rooms are sterilized and all supplies, materials and equipment in place for treatment.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 Certified Dental Assistant

 Possesses high standards of professional conduct; performs quality work with

the highest degree of accuracy and integrity

 Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

 Strong knowledge of terminology and procedures is considered an asset

 Strong ethical standards and ability to safeguard patient privacy and

confidentiality.

 Experienced in turnover of clinical rooms, sterilizing, equipment and supplies.

 Ability to perform multiple tasks and balance priorities.

 Adaptable to respond to the needs of the surgical centre and stay calm in all

situations.

 Comfortable with assisting Surgeon in surgical procedures.

 Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

 Completion of the AAOMS Sedation Assistant course is an asset.
