Marketing Lead

We are in search of a strategic, self-driven, and collaborative individual to support in the development and execution of Skip's new customer acquisition strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and cultivating sources of customer growth, as well as working cross-functionally to ensure teams are aligned and accountable for delivering efficient and streamlined acquisition initiatives.
The Lead, New Customer will play a critical role in shaping how new customers discover and engage with Skip. You'll work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Product, and Analytics to bring forward creative, data-driven solutions that attract high-value users and drive sustainable growth. Given the strategic impact and visibility of this role, we're looking for someone who combines strong business acumen and marketing expertise with exceptional project management and relationship-building skills.
What's On Your Plate:
- Lead the development of Skip's new customer acquisition strategy across all Skip channels.
- Identify, source, and execute new partnership opportunities that expand Skip's reach and generate new customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Performance Marketing, CRM, Product, Analytics, Legal, Creative and Finance) to align on acquisition goals, creative messaging, and tracking mechanisms.
- Support with establishing KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure partner and channel effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure accountability across internal teams by maintaining clear processes, communication cadences, and documentation for all acquisition related initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive benchmarks, identifying new opportunities for innovation in customer growth.
- Champion efficiency and scalability by creating playbooks, frameworks, and templates for partnership and acquisition execution.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A mid-level marketing professional with at least 3 years of experience under their belt, and a focus on customer acquisition or business development
- Creative and strategic – with a proven ability to solve undefined problems and think outside the box to deliver on strategic outcomes with limited resources
- Highly analytical and results-driven, comfortable using data to evaluate performance and guide decision-making
- Ability to work autonomously with goal/objective-set direction and own multiple projects simultaneously with varied timelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to align diverse teams toward a shared goal
- Positive, 'can do' attitude, with a history of anticipating problems and proactively finding solutions
