Taqueria Jalisco is inspired by the flavours, colours, and culture of Jalisco, Mexico. We are known for serving authentic Mexican food and we have now three different locations over Vancouver thanks to our delicious food but also because of the great service we provide to our customers.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience is an asset but first and foremost having a positive attitude and desire to learn.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. To know when to work as a team and when to work independently.
- Expected to present themselves in a clean, well-groomed, and professional manner consistent with our restaurant's standards.
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Write patrons food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders to a computerized system clear and professional for kitchen staff.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to keep our family vibe.
- Acknowledge of the full menu, with the ability to make food and drinks recommendations.
- Addresses any issues quickly and professionally to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Collect payments from tables.
- Prepare checks that itemize total meal costs and sales taxes.
