Technical Training Specialist

Currently, we have an opening for a Technical Training Specialist. The Technical Training Specialist uses their expertise to provide technical training to our internal personnel which will standardize and assist our current Specialists with their training process and presentation skills.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct internal and external systems training.( IE  Isure, Total Station, Deswik, Drill Connect, BEV Drills systems.)
  • Provide expertise in upskill training and mentoring of new specialists in the training presentation role, trainee evaluation and reporting of activities.
  • Imparting BEV knowledge for internal drilling products support through our specialist and field service teams.
  • Act as our Train the Trainer internally for the customer training sessions.
  • Fulfill trainer role in Sandvik Training Center activities, tailored to customer directly with the use of equipment simulators.
  • Additional customer product support for the DU, DL, DS and DD products both standard and BEV.
  • Perform customer needs analysis to evaluate and provide Value Added Solution for continuous improvement  opportunities
  • Function as online support for remote support issues within the technical specialist team.
  • Assist with implementing and completing training syllabus format, customer report format and formation of training centre implementation.

What you will bring along

  • 5+ years of technical experience.
  • Strong background in DU, DL DS, DD products both standard and BEV.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Bilingual in both French and English is considered an asset.
  • Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of our customer's industry.
  • Superior customer relations and active listening skills.
  • Ability to travel is essential.
  • Positive attitude.
