Maintenance Mechanic
Our client is an international food and beverage production company. They are currently looking for a maintenance mechanic to join their team in their state-of-the-art production facility in Calgary. The facility leverages advanced industrial equipment and the expertise of a large multi-skilled team to ensure products of the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
- Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical maintenance troubleshooting and problem-solving principles and concepts
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts and rebuild parts as required
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Other related duties as required
Education & Experience
- A diploma or qualification in a mechanical discipline is an asset
- Previous related experience in industrial maintenance is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and high-quality standards
- Positive attitude and self-starter
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments
- Work environments can vary between wet, dusty, cold, hot, and high noise conditions
- Work around automated equipment
WAGE RATE
$39.00 per hour
