Job Overview

Midlite is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson to join our team in Whitehorse, working out of our Castle Power shop. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with hands-on experience in automotive repair and industrial equipment. The Journeyperson will work at our Castle Power shop in Whitehorse, Yukon, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job duties.
  • Journeyman ticket
  • JM Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Valid Class 5 License, Class 1 or Class 3 is preferred.
  • Clean drivers abstract
