Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Strategy & Operations to serve as a trusted advisor and right-hand to the Business Transformation Leader for the Tax & Legal practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and communication – a natural connector who can translate big ideas into actionable plans and ensure the team moves forward in alignment.

This is a highly visible and impactful role at the heart of our transformation journey. You'll have the opportunity to work with senior leadership, gain exposure to firmwide initiatives, and play a key role in shaping how the Tax & Legal practice evolves. What you will do:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner closely with the Business Transformation Leader to shape and operationalize the transformation agenda for Tax & Legal
  • Translate strategic goals into clear plans, timelines and deliverables; track progress and follow through on commitments
  • Identify interdependencies across initiatives and help align stakeholders toward common objectives

Business Operations & Rhythm of the Team

  • Drive the operating cadence – prepare agendas, materials and outcomes for leadership and executive meetings
  • Ensure consistent follow-up on action items and accountability across the transformation team
  • Build and maintain clarity across multiple workstreams, helping the team stay focused on priorities
  • Establish and maintain organizational systems to manage priorities
  • Develop reporting frameworks to track KPIs, progress on initiatives and other strategic goals

Communications & Storytelling

  • Synthesize complex information and multiple inputs into crisp, compelling presentations, summaries, and talking points for the leader
  • Create high-impact PowerPoint decks, briefing notes, and visual materials that help communicate strategy and progress to various audiences
  • Support the leader in preparing for key meetings and presentations, ensuring they have the right context, insights and messaging

Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a connector across transformation initiatives – helping ideas and people come together
  • Foster alignment between transformation initiatives and broader firm initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, creating trust and influence through credibility and follow-through

What you bring to this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, transformation, management consulting or a related role
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills – able to quickly understand complex issues and simplify them
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and visual (strong PowerPoint storytelling is a must)
  • Highly organized with a bias for action and a track record for turning ideas into outcomes
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence – able to build trust and influence without authority
  • Experience in a professionals services or complex matrix organization preferred, but not required
