Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Criteria

  • Must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, and/or holidays on shift. Do not apply if you cannot.
  • Good customer service attitude and skills.
  • Good time management
  • Minimum 5 years with driver's license.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with commercial cargo vehicle or 3 ton cube truck in Canada.
  • Must be physically fit.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Clean criminal record.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload large trollies, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with operations manager and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
  • Previous experience and ability to drive 3-ton trucks a plus.
  • Experience in content restoration for restoration companies (fire, flood insurance) pack outs a plus.
  • Skills in vehicle maintenance a plus for this postion.
  • Basic automotive repair knowledge is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
