Artifact Group is growing — and we're looking for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on leader to join our team as
Director of Investments – Asset Management
.
This pivotal role will drive portfolio performance, oversee capital planning, and accelerate new investment initiatives across our expanding platform. Reporting directly to ownership, this leader will integrate
financial asset management, CapEx execution, and investment strategy
to maximize returns and long-term asset value.
You'll collaborate with teams across finance, operations, design & construction, and legal, while building strong relationships with
management companies, brands, brokers, lenders, and capital partners
.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading financial underwriting, investment analysis, and deal sourcing,
- Overseeing portfolio performance and asset value growth,
- Providing strategic oversight of capital improvement and renovation initiatives,
- Partnering across disciplines to ensure financial and operational excellence
Ideal background:
- 5 to10 years in investments, asset management, or capital project oversight (hospitality preferred),
- Advanced Excel modeling and valuation skills,
- Deep understanding of hotel operations, CapEx, and investment underwriting,
- Entrepreneurial, analytical, and passionate about hospitality and real estate.

Flexible, Montreal or Toronto with periodic travel to assets and markets.
