Sushi Cook

Ryu is a high-end sushi restaurant offering an upscale menu of traditional Japanese dishes each elevated with a modern touch. We're looking to hire Experienced Maki Rollers to join our restaurant group.

SALARY: 21-23$ /H

SCHEDULE: Part-time + Full-time

LOCATIONS: Montreal trudeau airport , Dorval

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform delegated tasks from our Executive Chef and/or General Manager
• Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, high-end presentation, and food safety.
• Assist in daily food preparations and inventory management (ie. ability to inspect, receive, and store all raw bar related items)
• Expertly cut, slice, and fillet different types of fish.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain a clean work environment, as well as adhere to the restaurant's high sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and hygiene measures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Min 2 years of sushi experience
• Willingness and ability to execute high-end sushi
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professionalism under pressure
• Must live in Montreal and/or have a valid Canadian working visa
