About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and HANA Developer
to join our team in Regina, SK. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics solutions that power critical business decisions. You'll work closely with data analysts, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing data pipelines and reporting solutions using SAP and modern cloud analytics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SAP BW objects including InfoCubes, DSOs (ODS), InfoObjects, queries, and Process Chains.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes and data models within SAP BW and migrate/evolve them into SAP HANA landscapes.
  • Build and support BEx reports and integrate with downstream tools (e.g., Power BI, BOBJ).
  • Manage end-to-end data pipelines—from extraction and transformation to loading into visualization layers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data architecture, and deliver solutions using Agile methodology.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration test cases; provide detailed test result reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, data retention standards, and industry best practices.
  • Provide Level 3 production support and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years
    of hands-on experience as an
    SAP BW and HANA Developer
    .
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in government or public-sector projects (2–3 years preferred).
  • Strong expertise in:
  • SAP BW (InfoCubes, DSOs, Process Chains, BEx)
  • SAP HANA modeling and development
  • ETL design and data transformation architecture
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as
    SAP BOBJ, BODS, Power BI
    , or
    Azure Data Factory/Synapse
    is highly desirable.
