We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative work.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Cleardent, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Support orthodontic procedures when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of orthodontics.
- Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children in the dental chair.
- Utilize CAD technology for dental procedures when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Cleardent is preferred.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Ability to interact effectively with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with patients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$33.50 per hour
