Sales Manager – Home Design & Building Materials


Location:
Montreal


Salary:
$110,000 – $150,000 per year, based on experience


Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with the occasional Saturday)

We are looking for a dynamic
Sales Manager
to lead and grow all commercial initiatives in the
home design and building materials industry
. This role is key to achieving and exceeding team objectives while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and profitability by acquiring new clients and increasing revenue with existing customers.
  • Oversee and optimize all sales activities to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Set sales priorities based on key performance indicators and monitor performance using internal systems.
  • Manage strategic accounts to ensure profitable growth and achievement of monthly and annual targets.
  • Maintain and strengthen a culture of excellence in customer service and supplier satisfaction.
  • Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Contribute to the development of sales compensation programs, policies, and strategies.
  • Lead regular sales meetings to foster team communication and alignment.
  • Attract, coach, and retain a high-performing and motivated sales team.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team.
  • A strong network and knowledge in the
    design, architecture, and contractor sectors
    is an asset.
