Senior Controller/Director of Finance
to lead the corporate accounting and treasury functions of the Group.

This role is accountable for financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and systems across a diverse portfolio of income-producing and development properties. Additionally, the Controller will oversee certain banking, compliance, and estate oversight functions for the ownership group.

The Role:

  • Lead daily and long-term cash flow management across corporate entities.
  • Manage banking relationships, intercompany funding, and treasury controls.
  • Monitor debt obligations, covenant compliance, and refinancing opportunities.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for the CFO and ownership group.
  • Ensure strong controls, reconciliation, and financial integrity.
  • Coordinate with the internal tax and compliance team and external advisory
  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts at both property and consolidated levels.
  • Provide variance analysis and meaningful insights to the CFO and management.

The Candidate:

  • CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in the real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in Treasury management (cash flow, financing, banking relationships).
  • Prior exposure to family office or privately held businesses, with demonstrated discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities across corporate and family contexts.
  • Systems-oriented, with experience using IT/reporting tools to drive efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
