Job Summary

The Building Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility. This role requires a proactive leader with strong management skills and a solid background in building cleaning & superintendent. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, are functioning efficiently while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.

Duties

  • Manage and sometimes supervise the trades to ensure effective operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee project management tasks related to facility upgrades, repairs, and maintenance initiatives.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialized projects or repairs as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within building management.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Some mechanical knowledge
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration.
  • A commitment to safety standards and best practices in facility management is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
