Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food items.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that enhance the dining experience.
