Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Telebelt Operator to operate and maintain our truck-mounted telescopic conveyor (Telebelt) for civil and utility projects. This position involves placing concrete, sand, gravel, and other materials in trenches, foundations, and other areas where precision placement is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience running concrete pumps or conveyors and a solid understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck-mounted Telebelt conveyor system
• Set up, position, and level the Telebelt for safe and efficient operation
• Place materials such as concrete, sand, gravel, and backfill accurately
• Perform pre-trip and daily equipment inspections
• Communicate with ground crews, drivers, and site supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck and conveyor system
• Follow all WorkSafeBC and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating a Telebelt, concrete pump, or similar conveyor system
• Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement (Class 1 an asset)
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and load placement techniques
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, safety-minded, and mechanically inclined
