Trinity Energy Group is growing, and we're looking for Firestopping Labourer to join our dedicated team If you have experience with fire-rated assemblies, are safety-conscious, and enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment - we want to hear from you

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install firestop systems in walls, floors, and ceilings according to project specifications
  • Apply a variety of firestop materials, including caulks, sealants, wraps, and boards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings related to fireproofing
  • Ensure work is compliant with building codes and manufacturer standards
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with site supervisors and other trades
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and follow all safety protocols

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in firestopping or a similar construction trade (asset, but willing to train the right candidate)
  • Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel within Atlantic provinces as needed, Monday to Friday (hotel and per diem provided for overnight stays)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, data, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to fireproofing applications.
  • Valid driver's license, clean abstract, and reliable transportation to job sites. Class 1 Drivers License, air brakes or additional endorsements preferred.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands (i.e. lifting/holding 55lbs comfortably, standing for long periods).
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
