Sales Representative – Nova Scotia

Being a Sales Representative with us means using your ability to build strong partnerships to develop and maintain excellent relationships with our customers.
As a Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in the company's growth within a stimulating, collaborative, and success-driven environment. A true ambassador of our products, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our distributors and contractors. Your mission: showcase our competitive edge, boost sales, and seize new market opportunities.
Your responsibilities:
- Engage with distributors and contractors: present our complete product offering, provide competitive feature comparisons, discuss market potential, share growth opportunities, and understand the specific needs of our customers;
- Educate and develop knowledge: conduct research and prospecting activities to inform partners in your territory about our products and expand their product knowledge;
- Increase market awareness: reach out to end users/specifiers within companies responsible for specifying and selecting equipment for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications, focusing on electrical contracting firms, design-build companies, and consulting engineers;
- Analyze market trends: use research and prospecting techniques to gather insights and maintain an ongoing understanding of market trends;
- Develop training tools: create and recommend training materials such as webinars and videos to maximize performance and achieve objectives.
- This position requires regular travel within the Nova Scotia region.
You're the person we're looking for if you have:
- A college diploma in Business Administration (Marketing or Sales) or equivalent experience;
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant sales experience;
- Bilingualism English and French an asset;
- A valid driver's license;
- Proficiency with MS Office;
- Experience with Salesforce,an asset;
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of electrical products and the industry (an asset);
- The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications (an asset);
- Autonomy, a dynamic personality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
