We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector – CWB Level 2 to help maintain our high standards of quality assurance and compliance.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Inspector – CWB Level 2 is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying fabricated and coated materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. This position plays a key role in supporting shop and field operations through consistent and accurate quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct visual inspections

· Read and interpret drawings, specs & P&IDs.

· Material receiving and MTR verification

· Verify that all fabrication, welding, and coating processes meet applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.

· Monitor weld parameters

· Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, records, and non-conformance documentation.

· Witness hydro tests

· Maintain welder qualifications

· Complete turnover packages with As-built drawings, weld mapping and hydro test packages..

· Support production and project teams with in-process and final inspections.

· Ensure proper calibration and use of inspection and testing equipment.

· Participate in internal and external audits and quality meetings.

· Promote safety and continuous improvement within all quality processes.

Qualifications

· Level 2 NDT Certification (MT, PT, UT, or RT required; multiple tickets are an asset).

· 2+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in fabrication, welding, or coatings.

· Knowledge of CWB, ASME, and API codes and standards.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and weld maps.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

· Valid driver's license and ability to work in both shop and field environments.
