Job Summary

Calibre Signs Manufacturing located in Whitby is seeking an experienced Part time leading to Full Time. Sign Fabricator preferably with at least 2 years experience . Job entails: Working with fabrication drawings, production schedules, Power tools, drill press, brake, shear, CNC router, ACCU bend ,LED wiring, ability to lift 50lbs etc. Clean driver's abstract an asset. Additional training will be provided on job to bolster current experience. Any additional certificate and experience including Welding etc also to be considered an asset of consideration and should be included with resume.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for various aspects of sign manufacturing and fabrication of signage including: channel letters, illuminated sign boxes and pylons, acrylic and flex face signs and awnings etc.

Duties include using power tools and equipment in the construction and fitting of signage using: brake, shear, saws, CNC router. ACCU bend and cinch, LED wiring etc

General maintenance to maintain clean and safe work environment

Perform other related department duties as assigned from time to time

Comply and understand company expectations with respect to Employee Handbook and Policy including Health and Safety.

Deadlines of customer jobs may require occasional overtime

Strong Work ethic and dependable

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 2 years Sign Manufacturing Experience

High School Diploma is preferred

Fluent in English with good communication skills

Ability to read and understand signage blueprints

Ability to lift 50lbs

Able to work in a team environment, take instruction to work independent with little supervision

Deadline oriented workplace

Job Type: Part-time
