Sprinkler Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of Wet, Dry and Pre-Action Sprinkler and Fire Pump systems. This position requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and their functionality.

Duties

• Conduct inspection, testing and maintenance of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA 25 Standards.
• Perform repairs on malfunctioning systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing defective components.
• Perform annual cross connections testing and repair.
• Complete after-hours service calls.

Skills

• Inspection Procedure: Ability to conduct thorough inspections of sprinkler systems, fire pumps and standpipes.
• Fire Code Knowledge: NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
• Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication with clients and team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Computer Skills: Use of software for inspection reports and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
