AEL, a Division of Emcon Services Inc., road and bridge maintenance contractor to the City of West

Kelowna is seeking winter equipment operators to join our team this winter season to operate snowplow

and sanding trucks throughout the West Kelowna Area.

In this position, you will be a valued member of our team and contribute to public safety by performing

tasks relative to snow removal and the application of anti‐icing liquids, sand and road salts to local city

streets. This is a critical position to keeping the public mobile and requires an understanding on the care

and operations of various types and sizes of equipment.

Required qualifications for this position include:

 Valid BC Driver's License (minimum Class 5 with air endorsement) Class 3 is preferred.

 Proven Industry Experience

 Experience driving single and/or tandem axle vehicles and operating a variety of transmissions,

including both automatic and manual transmissions up to a 13 speed.
