Casual Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team for weekend shifts with a flexible 4-8 hours/day schedule.
In this role, you will provide personal care and behaviour support to a young man with complex behaviour challenges.
Duties
- Provide direct support and companionship.
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Prepare meals and deliver medication
- Behaviour Support
- Monitor self Injury and report concerns
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in walking and engage in conversation.
Qualifications
- Patience and Empathy
- Willingness to learn
- Able to communicate effectively
- Comfortable in challenging scenarios.
Qualifications
- First aid and CPR (employer can help cover cost for right candidate)
- Pass a Criminal Record Check
- Food Safe
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
Work Location: In person
