Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in interactive entertainment, is seeking a Player Manager Experience (Product) to lead strategic player experience initiatives for their ARPG game portfolio.

This role blends player research, product strategy, and team leadership, ensuring that player insights directly influence game design, systems, and live service experiences. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading PX or UX research teams, understands ARPG player motivations, and can work cross-functionally to bring strategic clarity and focus to multiple titles.

This is a hybrid role 3 days/week in Montreal, QC.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a global PX research team, ensuring research deliverables are timely, actionable, and high quality.
  • Translate strategic player insights into clear product recommendations that shape gameplay, live services, and design direction.
  • Align research priorities with development goals, focusing on player-centric decision-making at scale.
  • Collaborate closely with product, game directors, producers, and design leadership to influence roadmap and feature prioritization.
  • Champion operational discipline in how research is scoped, delivered, and embedded into development cycles.

*Qualifications*

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Product Management, Psychology, Market Research, Data Science, HCI) or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years in gaming with a proven track record in product management or player experience leadership.
  • 2+ years of people management experience leading PX/UX research or product-focused teams.
  • Strong understanding of ARPG game systems (progression, combat, player motivations).
  • Proven ability to align research insights with business and product strategy.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across multi-disciplinary and global teams.
