For further Information please check out our website: Our Company is currently seeking a self-motivated, driven and hardworking professional Mechanical Engineer Lead to join our Halifax, Nova Scotia office.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their career path in a dynamic team-based working environment.Position: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING LEADLocation: Halifax, Nova ScotiaResponsibilities: The Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:Team leader and ability to lead young professionals with a passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of engineers.Develop a high-performing team and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and technical excellence.Prepare deliverables to facilitate project planning and budget controlPrepare the concept design and complete load calculations, schematics, equipment selection and system concept report.Oversee a talented team of mechanical professionals, guiding and development and ensuring top-tier project execution.Review and execute mechanical design and layoutReview mechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.).Attend project meetings to coordinate with other disciplines and project consultantsInspecting project sites in order to monitor progress and ensure compliance with all safety and government regulations.Coordinate with other disciplines internally as well as externally with consultants and architectsCompleting technical reviews and providing recommendations regarding designs and reportsPromote and maintain the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of mechanical engineering workCompleting audits of the work that is produced to ensure design is completed with quality and assuranceCommunicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and architects, subcontractors, contracting engineers, consultants, co-workers and clientsProvide mentorship to junior staff membersAssist in business development and maintaining existing client relationships.Qualifications, Experience and Education:Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant disciplineProfessional Engineering Designation (P.
