Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and presentable. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Provide commercial cleaning services in offices, restrooms, and common areas while adhering to company standards.
  • Manage time effectively to complete all cleaning duties within designated timeframes.
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude while interacting with clients and staff.
  • Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address any customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
