Job Title: B2B Copywriter
What does a B2B Copywriter do at Hogarth?
The B2B Copywriter will be responsible for strategically adapting, refining, and organizing complex information within the financial and management consulting sectors. This role requires the ability to take existing content, identify gaps, and transform it into compelling and compliant materials across various B2B channels, such as long-form web pages, precise marketing copy, white papers, case studies, and strategic social media posts, while maintaining Hogarth's high-quality standards. Experience with both long and short form B2B communications is required. An understanding of industry-specific nuances and how to create communications targeted for different segment audiences is necessary. The ideal candidate must be curious and adaptable, possess a meticulous eye for detail, and have a strong affinity for B2B content and complex topics. They must be able to collaborate seamlessly with subject matter experts and distill intricate information into clear, effective messaging for business and decision makers. In addition, they will have outstanding communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organizational abilities and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Adapt, refine, and organize diverse B2B content to brands tone of voice (web pages, articles, marketing copy, white papers, case studies, social media posts and presentations).
- Expertly refine and clarify legal, and B2B financial copy into clear, accessible, and engaging language for audiences. Make sure brand continuity is maintained,
- Ensure all content is factually correct, up to date with current regulations, and adheres strictly to industry standards and client brand guidelines.
- Partner closely with internal and client-side subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather context, validate adapted content, and maintain technical precision.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor content to inform content adaptation, identify gaps, and enrich overall messaging.
- Tailor content style, tone, and complexity to effectively address the specific needs and knowledge levels of various B2B target audiences.
- Lead strategic direction and expert content strategy for projects, partnering with creative and client teams to ensure delivery to specifications. This includes strategically analyzing and transforming complex subject matter—simplifying or expanding as needed—and guiding teams to design and represent content clearly and on-brand.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of professional B2B copywriting or content writing experience, with a proven track record in financial services, management consulting, or other complex professional services environments.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience adapting and optimizing complex B2B content across various formats (e.g., long-form web pages, white papers, case studies, social media posts) and for diverse B2B channels.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills and collaborate cross-functionally.
