Your role at Clorox:
An Operator's duties and responsibilities dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them. Operators must remain focused and diligent in performing their tasks correctly and with care to keep everything running smoothly and produce great quality products.In this role, you will:
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
Safety
- Safety is the number one priority at Clorox and as such, all employees are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of themselves and their fellow employees. Under no conditions will safety be compromised.
- All employees are responsible to follow all company policies and procedures, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment, as required by task.
- All employees are responsible to participate in all safety programs, and understand and follow all requirements of JSA's
- All employees are responsible to report all safety incidents, injuries and/or near-misses to Supervisor and/or Safety coordinator.
- All employees are responsible for completing BOAST card weekly requirements
Quality
- An understanding of simple visual part defects. Examples-torn or broken cartons or trays, graphic defects
- Understand the use of date codes, how they work and where and when they are needed
- Make sure the date code is correct on cartons and shipper cases
- Know how to follow and implement the correct pallet pattern
- Make sure gloves are used at all times where required
- Responsible to report any defects to supervisor, quality and or line lead immediately
Operations
- Take direction from supervisor and peers
- Perform duties on manual lines. Examples would include but not limited to, insertion of filters into cartons, making of trays, tray packing, and palletizing
- Learning what 5S is and the importance of it
- Learn how to operate pump cart and bishamon lifts correctly and safely
Other duties as assigned.

Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written skills assessment and interview demonstrating:
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment, initiative, and cooperation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (an asset).
