Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Risk Management Specialist, located in Esquimalt, BC. The Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including conducting risk analysis, developing and implementing enterprise risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Communication is key, as the role involves liaising with various stakeholders and preparing detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and risk analysis experience
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management practices
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of finance and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Certifications in risk management or related fields are a plus
- Experience in the healthcare or social services sector is beneficial
