Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and expert product knowledge to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about retail sales, skilled in communication, and capable of creating a welcoming shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales are highly valued to assist a broad customer base effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
  • Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to increase sales
  • Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote featured items
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers during busy periods
  • Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization

Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
  • Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and cashiering (POS systems)
  • Knowledge of technology products and ability to conduct product demos effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Demonstrated organizational skills for maintaining store presentation and inventory control
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Ability to perform basic retail tasks such as upselling, cashiering, and product merchandising
  • Strong phone etiquette for customer interactions via calls or online chats
